The Parade
After bringing Derby to a stand still last year we are delighted to be able to announce our parade will take on the following route this year.
Starting from 11am this years theme is Pride not Prejudice. Anyone can enter the parade please email info@derbypride.org.uk for further information and news of our exciting workshops to get you prepared to dazzle!!!

Join the Pride 2010 Parade!
The Derby Pride Parade is an ideal opportunity to put your business in front of thousands of people. An entry in the Derby Pride Parade places your brand at the heart of Derby's Pride celebrations and demonstrates your commitment to equal opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees and customers alike.
Walkers do not need to register and can turn up at 10am at the parade meeting point.
What is the Derby Pride Parade?
With 6 motorised and 200 walking entries last year, the Derby Pride Parade will be the highlight of the Pride Big Weekend and the biggest Parade in Derby! The Parade is a fun way to celebrate the LGBT community in Derby City, and raise awareness of the issues around L.G.B.T. and HIV and Aids.
What is this years route?
Starting at forester street turning right onto Green Lane turning left onto Babbington Lane turning left onto St Peters Street to the bottom and turning right onto Albert Street round the island onto the Morledge round Cockpit into Bass recreation Ground.
What is the theme of the Parade?
Although the overall theme of the Parade is Pride Not Prejudice you can interpret your Parade entry from your own theme and your own vibrant ideas!!!
